This posts is pretty late in coming, kind of like a lot of previous posts. x: There’s a lot of preperation for me on these kind of things. Trying to get a stable vision about what shapes to wear and what poses to use (oh how I’m startingto hate finding poses) and what hair to wear. Throw in some long, long naps, one very slow computer and one very slow Trickett and it can take a few days for me to go from deciding to blog to actually posting. x:
This post is focused on a few skins I’ve collected over the month. :3 Because they are skins, it comes with a disclaimer. x:
I’m always very nervous about blogging skin stores. Skins are a very tricky art. A lot of the newer skin stores appearing on the grid (well by newer I mean in recent years) learn and work with modifying premade, full perm, tempaltes they have purchased from other players. Some of these skin templates are legitimate templates, created by the original seller. But many are not. Some are direct rips but many are hybrids. Without knowing very much about very many stores (information such as who hand draws their skins, who sources their own work, who sources from open sites such as Renderosisty and how modified they are and who uses tempaltes from SL) it’s very difficult for all users, whether they be customer or designer, to know which skins are legally sourced and which are not.
All the skins stores I post are, to the best of my knowledge, made by honest creators. If you later pick up any of these skins and find questionsbale features about them, I think it is best to get in contact with the creator using a well written NC that explains your concerns that they may have purchased a tempalte using a ripped and/or Frankenstein skin. It is not a good idea to start a witch hunt. x: If you find the creator to be overly defensive or they have suspiscious excuses, then you may want to send the NC to the person who you feel is the original creator. But as I said, without knowing a lot of things abotu a lot of skins, this may in the end be futile. Unfortunately these problems put off original skin makers, I too increasingly feel there’s very little we can really do about it. :/

These skins and the shape are from Heartsick. The Heartsick group is very generous and currently costs 10L to join. There is always a group gift every month and there is often previews given out too. Currently, there is different skin in store set to 50L everyday. For St. Valentine’s day there are six skins, both male and female to be found. o:
There’s a tone difference bewteen picture set 1 and picture set 2 because with atmospheric shaders on, white ambiance is incredibly bright and I didn’t really notice untill I swithced to a paler skin and blinded myself. x: Incidentally, you may notice slight tone differences on some of the skins when you try them on in-world. I do try my best to capture how things look in-world but enviroment settings and graphic preferences will affect the tones. x:
You can find the red make-ups in the latest group gift in the archives. It comes with three tones and each tone comes with three clevage options and freckled versions. I really liked the frecks although I forgot to put them in close up shots. ): It also comes with the shape, which I also quite liked. :3 I often find most of the shapes by Heartsick to be well-propotioned.
The pink lipped skin is a group gift in store and is only available in this tone.
At the time of writing the purple lipped skin was in the archives, however it only has a few horus before it expires. But in a stroke of luck, you can head down to the store and pick up a box for 10L containg past gifts and prizes including this skin and many others. 
If you have a male alt or know a male avatar in need of skins, there’s also a 10L box and male group gift available. :3 I was going to make a male post but I was starting to flag a bit so that hasn’t happened. x:

These skins are from Modish. Modish is a relatively new skin store.
I’m not always very sure on the bodies of the skins but the faces are very cute. The store is currently in a lot of hunts, offers a monthly group and has just opened a disount room offering past exclusives, group gifts and hunt prizes for between 10L and 200L. I am looknig foreward to seeing where this store goes. :3 (Definitely hoping they drop the CGI morph graphics on their store logo/blog too. x: )

The orange lipped skin is a group gift from Al Vulo. The group is free to join and there’s always new gifts every month. I suspect this one will change for Valentine’s day so make sure you pick this one up soon. x:
The skin with the blue eye make-up is CStar’s monthly gatch. The price starts at 10L and goes up 1L everyday. This is the honey tone. :3
The skin I used for the full body picture is the Valentine’s Day group gift at JeSyLiLo. You can also pick up the Zombie Popcorn 6 skin while you’re tehre. :3
The pink lingerie used throughout these picture is the St. Valentine’s Day gift from long-running lingerie paradise, Insolence, while the cornflower set is also from Heartsick.
The cute pinky-coral hair is the Januray subscriber gift from Pomme d’Amour.
And lastly you may have noticed I wore tattoos throughout this post. They’re my little ventrue into the world of creation. x: Hopefully there will be more intersting and technical things to come. x: I’m going to write the store (which I have tentatively and generically named Pixel Heart (pixel heart.)) it’s own post in a bit. For now, the tattoos are available on the marketplace. I’ve put the full set up for 5L and a matching freebie of just the hand/lower arm on glove layer incase you have no Lindens to spare. It’s also the most suitable unisex part. x:
